About 151 Coffee
151 Coffee is a lively drive-thru coffee shop with a focus on speed and quality!
151 Coffee is a coffee shop in Plano, Texas. It is listed at 1151 Preston Rd, Plano, TX 75093, which places it among the local businesses of Plano that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 6 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach 151 Coffee at (682) 325-2124; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is 151coffee.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 1,069 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Plano.
Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Plano is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have been a loyal customer since 2020, so for about 6 years now. I’ve brought my entire family to the Plano location over the years because we genuinely love your coffee. That’s why I’m so disappointed by today’s experience. Today, my brother stopped by to pick up two drinks—one paid with a card and one with cash. I asked for my drink with no ice, just as we’ve done many times before. The staff told him it would be an extra $1 for no ice. Since we’ve paid that before, I told him not to worry about it and to just have them make it with the normal amount of coffee if they weren’t going to fill the cup. When he got home (I live about 25 minutes away now), I was shocked. My medium drink was literally half full. It honestly felt like I paid for half a drink. So now I’m wondering… what’s the difference between buying a small coffee, asking for a large cup of ice, and pouring it into the larger cup myself? Is that really what customers are paying for? This has never happened to us before, and it’s very disappointing. I’ve supported this location since day one, recommended it to family and friends, and have always enjoyed the service. I hope this isn’t the new standard because it def

Excellent coffee. I am blessed enough to have a friend that travels the world and is a true coffee conossuer, so I drink a ton of delicious coffees. I got a plain black coffee here and it was surprisingly amazing. Nice bold flavor and no bitterness. The other most famous chain coffee just tastes like burned popcorn imo, but this place has a nice flavorful coffee for the real coffee drinkers.

My new favorite coffee place! I live in Allen and come out just because I love it. There’s only an outside sitting area, but it stays pretty cool with the fans. I love their rewards. They send coupons for 50% off your order sometimes, and it makes it so much more worth it to go! I love that the drinks are so customizable and you’re not nickle and dimed for every little thing you do like other coffee places.

Always great experience, but not 5/30/2026 I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY LATEST ORDER. I’ve been going here for over a year and I used to be Starbucks goer until i discovered 151 coffee. Great coffee and drinks are made well and you get what you pay for until 5/30/2026 around 3/4pm. I wanted a coffee SO BAD and went there in the afternoon, i typically order then take my coffee home to enjoy it there. When I got home I opened the coffee to add an extra shot of espresso then I noticed my large cup of coffee wasn’t full AT ALL! Literally atleast 1/4 of the cup was empty. This is unfair to your paying customers who are paying full price. This is the first time it has happened to me and I go here often, I called and no one answered. I am still going to return and support, but please make sure you are filling the cup based on what the person has paid for. I will attach the photos/video I took, I was too tired to drive back there to show them. The staff are FRIENDLY so I’m sure they would have remade it for, but I was too exhausted to make the drive back there again. This is a place I support, but I’m simply disappointed (it’s like when you are craving something so bad then get

151 Coffee is the undisputed champion when it comes to coffee and drinks. Suck on that, Starbucks! They hire the coolest people, and the drinks are always the best. I'm not really a coffee drinker, but this place changed my point of view. I ordered an Ocean Water Italian soda this time, and it was fantastic. The only problem I have with this place is that they put a lot of ice in the drinks. But what are you gonna do? It's probably a management decision, not the employees. If you don't want ice, just say "no ice." Other than that issue, this place deserves four stars.
